Abs Grilled Mushrooms and Pickled Carrots 

Last weekend Abby cooked up a fine light summer meal. We rekindled our firepit which had been lightly smoldering for a week. Once it was blazing again and cooked down to coals, Ab grilled some shrooms on skewers. Mmm. What you can't see is our stray cat, Dick, trying to get up on the picnic table.
