Brown and Grey
The gloom of late winter Marches on. Snow blows in bitter breezes, paints the grass and pavement, glazes cars, slickens roads. Grass remains a stubborn dull thatch of brown and skies are slate grey, endlessly sad. Sometimes it has a tempestous kind of charm, but this late in the season I am ready for a sweet transition of warmer air and tiny green upstarts. Only a couple of weeks away- can I be patient enough?
