Today Ab and me hiked a mile and a half 900 feet up the side of House Mountain, Tennessee. At 2100 feet it is the highest point in Knox County (Knoxville).

Park off of Hogskin Road, and hike on up the Southeastern Side. Temperature today was in the mid fifties with a light wind and lots of sun. We sat on massive sandstone rocks amid the Table Rock and Virginia Pines and contemplated distant Chilhowie Mountain and the Smokies even farther.
